Saneatra Polk was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. At the age of six, she set out to write her first novel, I Love You to Death. It was a story about a woman who sets out to kill her husband to collect insurance money. At six, Saneatra does not know where she got the idea. She could barely put a sentence together, but she knew she wanted to write a story. Saneatra began writing more after receiving compliments on her writing from teachers in high school. She loved the idea of creating new worlds through fiction. Over the years, writing has become a huge part of Saneatra’s life. Writing is her passion.
